It is amazing how much Vera sucks now. Everyone thought he was going to be a star a few years ago, now he is lucky to even be in the UFC.

veras awsesome you guys need to pull your heads out of your asses> F$%&ing americans, a guy loses twice to two good fighters and he's kicked to the curb. Way too many dana whaite nut huggers. Lose 1 fight and your shit, maybe if we has a PROPER ranking system we wouldnt have theses problems!

First off learn how to speak, or spell. Secondly, Vera has not had a good showing in years, and though he may be getting better, the competition in the 205 division is way over his head, and he is at the ass end of the division.

Vera did not fight well against Slyvia at UFC 77. He did not fight well against Werdum at UFC 84, albiet, it was an early stoppage. The sut was hard on him and he looked less than stellar against Reese Andy at UFC Fight Night 14. Vera did fight better against a very unorthodox Jardine at UFC 89. Patt was a gift due to the fact that his recent fight didn't even make the main card at UFC 96. Vera needs a good showing against a big name opponent if he's going to get some traction again with UFC fans. Vera is a talented fighter and has potential. If focused, he can be a mainstay in the UFC.

vera has a lot of potential. i hope he will stay focus, be more agressive in his next fight! you say vera sucks, you can say what you want! but the truth is back! lets just wait and see.

I think Veras a good fighter if you can remember in the slyvia fight he broke his hand in the first round plus slyvia used his weight advantage by holding him to the cage for most of the fight. He should of used more leg kicks in the fight and his corner told him to but he wanted to try and knock that fat b**** out. The Werdum fight got stopped way to soon Vera should right up after the ref stopped it. The Reese Andy fight was his first fight at 205 and the weight cut had an effect on his cardio. The Jardine fight was a split decision victory for Jardine. Jardine is no easy test he so hard to train for with his unorthodox style.I thought it was a very too close to call. Vera I think is more focused on the 205 division now because of the monsters that are in the heavyweight division.Vera is only 31 so he still has many years left in him. This is MMA and anything can happen in any fight. If you don't come in prepared or you under estimate your opponent then your going to have a rough night.
