Hell may be freezing over, because Pat Miletich and Dana White may make nice very soon.
Miletich recently told MMAInsider that he's working with White to arrange a meeting between them in the coming weeks.
The famed trainer and UFC head honcho have been on the outs for years after a litany of slights, real and perceived, between them over the course of eight years in the industry.
Miletich reportedly washed his hands of White in 2006 after being promised a coaching spot on the third season of "The Ultimate Fighter," only to see Tito Ortiz and Ken Shamrock take the job.
But time heals wounds, and a lot of time heals really bad wounds. Things may be turning around.
"I think we've both decided that it's better that we're not at each others throats," said Miletich. "We're both stubborn, and that's our problem."
Miletich's stable of active UFC fighters has dwindled over the years, as the originals of Miletich Fighting Systems have moved on to other camps or started their own. Recently, Miletich let go of one the last current UFC fighters in his stable, Drew McFedries, who was booted over comments he made at the post-fight press conference for UFC 98.
Could the meeting be a precursor to seeing more Miletich fighters in the Octagon? Could Miletich himself be vying for another "TUF" spot, or better yet, a fight of his own? Will the meeting degrade into shouting?

CSAC To Review Evangelista/Aina Fight In August
The controversial ending to the inaugural May edition of Strikeforce "Challenger Series" is getting a second look.
Bill Douglas, Assistant Executive Officer to the California State Athletic Commission, says the headlining bout between Billy Evangelista and Mike Aina will be reviewed at an upcoming commission meeting on Aug. 26 in Los Angeles.
The fight came to an abrupt halt when it appeared that Evangelista threw an illegal knee to a downed Aina in the second round. Referee Herb Dean ruled Aina the winner by disqualification when he was unable to continue, per CSAC rules, prompting a chorus of boos inside the Save Mart Center in Fresno, Calif.
The boos only intensified when instant replays revealed the blow had not struck Aina in the head, but rather under the armpit.
In an interview with MMAWeekly following the stoppage, Aina said he had no memory of the blow and was unable to continue due to pain that shot from his jaw to his ear.
Douglas said the commission will discuss the issues involved in the stoppage, but declined to say whether the disqualification could be overturned and changed to a no contest.

WEC 42: The Numbers Don't Lie
PRESS RELEASE:
The saying goes that "the numbers don't lie." If that's the case, the World Extreme Cagefighting card on Aug. 9 at Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, NV should be one of the most entertaining of the year. Headlined by a title bout and filled with vicious strikers, menacing grapplers, and exciting clashes, WEC: Torres vs. Bowles will undoubtedly prove why the WEC is home to the best light weight fighters in the world.
As the MMA community gears up for the action-packed evening of fights on Aug. 9, let's take a look at some of the key numbers behind WEC: Torres vs. Bowles. From knockout ratios to the amount of years spent training, each fighter has been assigned a number that correlates to their success inside the WEC cage.

3 - Number of times lightweight Shane Roller earned All-American honors as a collegiate wrestler at Oklahoma State University. The Las Vegas resident battles Marcus Hicks on Aug. 9.

MMA Bill Inches A Step Closer In Massachusetts
Legalized MMA is inching closer to reality in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
The Massachusetts Senate Ways and Means Committee on Tuesday passed "An Act To Regulate The Sport Of Mixed Martial Arts" with a favorable review, clearing it for a debate and vote on the Senate floor.
There are still more steps to go. If the Senate passes the bill, it will be read in the House and examined for amendments, and any amendments suggested by the House will need to be approved by the Senate.
If the bill gets through the amendment process, called "engrossing," the House and Senate will vote on whether to enact the bill.
From there, the bill goes to the Governor, who signs, vetoes, or amends the legislation.
It's a long and exhausting process, but so far, all signs have been pointing in the right direction, meaning we could see MMA in Boston by the end of the year or early 2010.

Dana White Amped for Season 10 of The Ultimate Fighter
UFC president Dana White is always out there pushing his product, marketing the brand. But when it comes to the tenth season of The Ultimate Fighter reality series, he went to great lengths to make it clear that he really does believe that the next season will be the best they've ever done... and he's not just selling his product.
"I don't want to sound like a promoter and like I'm trying to sell you guys on (The Ultimate Fighter) Season 10. (But) it's the best television we've ever done," he stated emphatically to small group of reporters over UFC 100 weekend.
"From the second it starts until the second we end... Andrea, she's the producer, she said to me at the end of this thing, I honestly don't know what they're gonna do. There's so many things, there's so many stories; she says we could have a 10-disk DVD set on this thing, there's just so many story lines and so much crazy (expletive) going on.
"When I say crazy (expletive), I'm not talking about guys (urinating) in fruit and stuff like that. I'm talking real television. I'm talking real good stuff."
Season 10 is dubbed "The Heavyweights" featuring 16 men in the UFC's heaviest weight class, including the controversial Kevin "Kimbo Slice" Ferguson, former IFL champion Roy Nelson, several former professional football players, colorful UFC veteran Wes Sims, among a wide assortment of personalities and skill levels.
The coaches for Season 10 are no less interesting. Former UFC light heavyweight champions Rashad Evans and Quinton "Rampage" Jackson have a healthy disdain for each other that will carry over into a December showdown following the end of the season's run on Spike TV.
