i dont think people are being fair to Rampage; dude had a very tough emotional fight in December 2008against Wanderlei Silva who was his nemesis and someone who destroyed him twice before - he wins that fight via knockout and comes back again March 2009 (3 months later) and fights a hard-fought victory over Keith Jardine setting up the grudge match between Rashad Evans. he would have had to have fought Rashad in May (2 months later) so that would have been 3 hard training sessions (1 being a title fight) for 3 hard opponents. he wisely declines which makes Rashad VS. Lyoto happen. Rampage said he hoped Rashad wins, but Lyoto becomes champ that night. now Lyoto has never been taken into the later rounds or been put on his back, something his next opponent Shogun will most likely do. it makes sense for Rampage to fight Rashad right now to get the grudge match out of the way, heal up and watch and see what happens with Lyoto VS. Shogun. he would rather fight an undefeated champion like Lyoto at no more then 100%. but thats just my opinion:). - CS
