Hazelett OK After Parisyan Withdrawal

He's disappointed, but Dustin Hazelett says he's moving on after Karo Parisyan withdrew Thursday from their scheduled fight at UFC 106.

"Everything happens for a reason, and I trust God's plan," Hazelett told MMA Insider just hours after the news was confirmed.

Hazelett received his show/win money from the UFC and assurances he would be put on the next available card.

He plans to stay in Vegas with his cornermen and several family members who've flown in and watch the fights.

"It's out of my hands, so I've got to make the best of it," he said.

LOL One less armenian to deal with...who wouldnt be OK with that?

Parisyan is worthless, how that clown ever got into the UFC is amazing in itself. Now we just need to get rid of his pint size cousin in the WEC and the MMA world will be that much better.

PARISYAN > YOU ARE A FRAUD <

How about you two get in the ring/cage? And I bet any Armenian would wipe the floor with you two chumps.

Basically, Karo's career ended with his leg injury. Maybe he didn't want to admit it but he just can't fight to his potential with power coming from only one leg and the pain it causes him inhibits his training. He was on a good contract with the UFC and I'm sure that financial pressures played a factor in his decision to carry on. But now he has to think about finding a new career.

Karo isn't a bad fighter. He pretty much is a gate keeper. If you beat him you can make it into the top ten. If you lose, don't ever expect to fight for the title. I'm not a fan of Hazelett, so I was actually looking forward to seeing him getting judo thrown on the ground. And I hate that Dustin brought God into this. God didn't have anything to do with it. Karo just didn't pay his fine.

TICE....CALLED DEVINE INTERVENTION !!!! Karo should take out a loan to pay that $32K..

Hate to say it anyway, he's ass compared to TOP 20 ! ... Gatekeeper ! NOT !

Ive never met anyone who had ANYTHING favorable to say about armenians...The turks tried to kill them off for a reason.

Im rooting for koscheck but johnson has been pretty dominating. I think Tito and Forrest will be good too.
