One of the largest amateur mixed martial arts events in the world will take place on Saturday, May 30, as over 100 fighters from 14 states are currently registered to fight in the Tuff-N-Uff Open Invitational in the Orleans Arena.
"We are excited to bring this size of an amateur mixed martial arts event to Las Vegas and the Orleans Arena," said Barry Meyer, President and Founder of Tuff-N-Uff. "The dozens of male and female fighters squaring off in this event really represent the true future stars of MMA."
A little over a year ago, Tuff-N-Uff set the standard in sanctioned amateur MMA events showcasing the "Future stars of MMA" in sold-out ballroom shows. The Tuff-N-Uff Open Invitational on May 30 takes amateur MMA in Las Vegas to an entirely new level by showcasing what will soon be more than 100 of the top future star MMA talent in one place -- the Orleans Arena.
Following the open invitational and a brief intermission, the "Future Stars of MMA: USA vs Mexico" main event show starts at 8 pm. Headlining will be an international battle for MMA supremacy, as a team of up-and-coming fighters from Mexican based Team Combate Extremo will make their way in to Las Vegas to square off with a the best amateur MMA fighters America has to offer.
