Wanderlei only lost his fights cause he was forced to. the UFC fixes fights and is just shoot-style pro wrestling. Chuck was scared shitless of Wanderlei and was greatful that Jackson beat him so Wanderlei wouldn't. Chuck would have never gotten in there with Wanderlei unless it was set up. There's no other reason not to fight back like Wanderlei does now. NOT EVEN THE CAGE!
i dont know about fixing fights but i do think its weird that wanderlei didnt fight quinton jackson during their 3rd meeting at all. i know he cant do steroids now( admit it guys he did ) but he could at least throw some punches.

I hate dillusional fans.It's ok to defend your favorite fighter, but to say a fighter only lost because he was forced to is ridiculous. I do agree chances are Wandy did steroids in Japan. Funny how his agression is a step lower and he now runs out of gas at the end of every round. Steroids dont build muscle, they give endurance to extend workouts and extend your energy through a round. How many Pride guys do well in the UFC???? How many didn't even come over?!?!
These guys claiming that fights are fixed are coming over from the WWE. They are in fantasy land (gay fantasy land at that). These guys don't train the way they do to throw a fight.

wanderlei's success in Pride has nothing to do with Steroids buddy. Nog, Wandy, and Sakuraba were three of the most injured fighters in MMA, all from Pride. Honestly, Wanderlei is done and it is inhumane that they are even letting him fight. His chin is complete shattered, his timing is off, and his stamina is depleted. He is past his prime.
Rampage Jackson did NOT get better when he came to the UFC. Wandy just became worse.
How many guys came over to the UFC from Pride? Nog has been successful in the UFC. Jackson has been successful in the UFC. Shogun will be successful. Dan Henderson has been successful.
Bottom-line, except Crop Cop (who pasted his prime) and Shogun (freak accident/underestimating Forrest) every top Pride guy did well.
Bring Arona, Filho, and Lil Nog over to the UFC! They will do well.
Also, none of these guys were top dogs in Pride, besides Shogun. Filho was top 185lber (not Hendo).
Nog, Rampage, and Hendo are NOT doing badly. They were never #1 in Pride. Fedor and Filho were. So...the fact that they are in the top 5 in the UFC is still good.
Pride was a better Org than UFC because of the heavy weights: Pride: Fedor, Cro Cop, Nog, Barnett UFC: Sylvia, Arlovski, Mir, Randy
The middle weight was even, slight edge to Pride: Pride: Shogun, Rampage, Wandy UFC: Chuck, Randy

Josh fights in Japan for years in between, Josh is clean. Josh is scheduled to fight stateside again in Affliction, Josh is once again busted. Weird, he just stopped using all that time in Japan, he started using again here. Again.... weird. Fighters use in the good ol' USA and they get caught and suspended. You never really here of fighters ever testing positive in Japan. Nick Diaz beats national hero Takanori Gomi. Nick tests positive for weed. To punish Nick Diaz Pride makes the fight a no contest. Now you have heard of UFC suspensions or even belts being stripped, but to change a fight result?!?! Almost sounds like the Japanese go out of their way to protect their stars. Did I mention....weird.
Symptoms of steroids are more endurance and agression. Wandy may have scuffled with Chuck in the weigh-ins, but even his interviews are calm now. He seems so much more personable. He gets so tired at the end of rounds. He doesn't fight with anything but hands most of the time at this point, where is that relentless, pop off a couple punches to get close, grab the clinchand knee a guy to death killer instinct? Where is his stamina? He brawled with Rampage in the ring after a fight. He went after Steibling at an airport. Even his staredown has lost a little bit of it's intimidation. All people fear now are his wild, but still powerful, but yes wild hooks.He knocked down Liddell in their fight and didn't pounce. Not even close to the agression of the Wandy of Pride.
By the way: Wandy, Hendo and Barnett all started in the UFC.
Spider fought 4 times in Pride before ever fighting in the UFC.
I had to reread the last two posts. The comparisons are screwed up in timeframes. I think it,s funny when someone writes on the internet, but wont use that same internet to make sure his arguement is correct.
