Dana White is hopping mad at Roy Nelson and promises fireworks between them as "TUF 10" progresses.At a gathering of reporters Thursday following the UFC 104 press conference, White fired back at allegations Nelson made of favoritism towards Kevin "Kimbo Slice" Ferguson, whom Nelson defeated in the quarterfinals of the show.
In an interview with USA Today following Episode 3 of the show, Nelson said concessions were made with Slice that no other fighter received.
"Kimbo's the only one that I know that had an entourage there; he actually had his family there, his management, while the rest of us kind of had to suffer," said Nelson. "The UFC made, we'll say, different concessions for Kimbo. I think he had a media room."
Meanwhile, Nelson pointed the finger at White, whom he publicly called a "puppet master."
"He's on the show saying we did that show for Spike after, where he's saying Kimbo's list, anything Kimbo put down, he got in minutes," said White on Thursday. "We'd write it down, we wouldn't get it for two days. What a bunch of crybabies. Let me tell you what: not only did Kimbo not get any special treatment on the show... the only difference between Kimbo and all the other guys was that if Kimbo made it into the UFC, he had a bigger contract than the other guys. That's it. I said that the day we did media day before the show even started. It kills me."
White went off on allegations that Kimbo got special communication privileges, particularly, the use of a phone during the show.
"Roy Nelson is a moron," said White. "He's an idiot. The guy really is that dumb. Never once did this guy use the phone to call anybody, and you'll actually see later on as the show progresses, there's a situation that happens where I have to get on the phone, and then I put (Kimbo) on the phone. He didn't get any special privileges, and even if he did, I'D (EXPLETIVE) TELL YOU! You're damn right, we gave special privileges, we pulled seven million viewers with him. If he wants to use the phone, he can use the (expletive) phone. He didn't. We didn't give him any special privileges. Roy Nelson is a moron. Interview him sometime, you'll find out."
Nelson was unavailable for comment on White's remarks.

If dana puts Kimbo in the UFC, I'll watch because I like him and think he'll knock out a few people. Kimbo is a big draw for me. I'll enjoy watching Kimbo bust a few heads as an under card fight. Will Kimbo become a champ? No. But I will still enjoy seeing him on UFC cards.

Wow! What they hell is going on here. Dana is a freaking promoter, which means he lies for a living in order to make the UFC look good. Those of you who believe his words over fighters need a reality check. Roy Nelson is the ONLY legit HW they have on the show. This season was meant so that Kimbo could bring ratings to TUF.
Dana White sure is in love with a fighter who can't fight worth a damn. How many years have we had to listen to White spout off about how "you have to earn a spot in the UFC" But that goes out the window if you have a lot of you-tube fans I guess.
Dana constantly talks about the legitimacy of the UFC, but goes out of his way to promote a fighter who can't fight, unless he's in a back yard somewhere. Dana is a liar and a hypocrite who is making the UFC resemble the WWE too much for my liking. He trash talks an established, albeit very fat, fighter while praising someone who just doesn't know MMA.
The first several seasons of TUF, white kept pushing that the UFC isn't a place for unprofessionals, thugs and punks, again, that is unless it's Kimbo.
TUF has lost all credibility, and the entire UFC is losing it at a fast pace as well. White is promoting a sideshow, a caricature of a fighter, while he slams a real fighter.
Dana white is an asshole, a liar and is beginning to look more and more like PT Barnum.
Roy Nelson is the idiot here, never talk down on your employer considering maybe 30% of people that enjoy MMA give a crap about that fat peice, and like Dana said if Kimbo did get special treatment its cause he brought in 7 million viewers. Some people need to learnt heir place.
Its called running your business. can you bring in 7 million viewers mr anonymous above? Do you have an employee who can bring in 7 million viewers? Dana can be harsh, but he shoots from the hip for the most part. UFC has lost no credibility either. Maybe some of the idiots like you stopped watching, but the people who are true fans of MMA will not and we will continue to talk up the sport and UFC to keep the sport growing. Maybe you should just go ahead and watch WWE and continue to be an idiot. By the way, Roy is an idiot for having said anything negative about his boss to the media especially. roy nelson beat kimbo? really, it looked to most of us like he just layed on top of him and smothered him with that whale blubber. that's not mma. i hope kimbo doesn't make it 'cause he's not an mma fighter either, but at least he's trying. roy nelson is the one who wants special treatment just 'cause he once fought in the ifl, the joke league. only horowich had any cred there and the rest of the ifl was a bad joke!

Nelson may or may not be the only legit guy on the show (although I'm sure Wes at least would argue that point), but his pedigree really doesn't matter. He's like Tim Silvia but with less character, and perhaps even less skill, which means he's a ratings disaster.
Yep, I agree with Shocked. I am a Dana White fan but I will say there is favoritism to Kimbo. He even said he would base a TUF of heavyweights for Kimbo and that would be the only way he'd get in. Kimbo alone has brought ratings for the show up higher than they ever have been. Whether he wins or loses he will still get a 2 or 3 fight contract. If he fights any competition that is even remotely good he will lose and he won't get his contract renewed because by that point no one will want to see a never-has-been get the shit beat out of him for $44.99 (before taxes).
To the moron that says the UFC is losing credibility at a fast pace...if that were true why are they getting events in new venues in new states and in new countries every month?

Fighting business or not, when the smoke clears, this IS a business, and theres not a business owner in the world who wouldnt want to make sure someone who brings in 7 million viewers and isnt even in the promotion yet!
