Dana White's UFC 105 Video Blog - Nov. 12
Dana White's latest video blog leading up to Saturday's UFC 105 in Manchester, England...
And by agreeing you sir have demonstrated your lack of knowledge in MMA. The only reason Dana White says fedor is a joke is because Fedor has to much self respect to sign his soul to the devil. There have CONFIRMED reports of the negotiations where in the negotiations DW told Fedor, "I know you greatest fighter in the world, the fans know it. All that stuff I said about you was me being a promoter. I'm a promoter, I was just promoting." So the people saying Fedor was ducking UFC can DIAF. That is the single most rediculous statement I have heard. Fedor didn't sign because he wanted to be respected and Dana has shown nothing but blatant disrespect to Fedor, NOT because he is afraid of the competition.
Are you kidding me? I used to be on-board with the whole Fedor mystique but WHO has he beaten lately or EVER with any credability?? Nog, Cro-cop, Arolvski and coleman? ..but WHO have those guys beat lately? they are DONE! Fedor has built a legacy beating cans, I will never be sold on Fedor until he nuts up and fights top guys consistantly. No more zulu, hong man choi, brett rogers,... none of that bull. FEDOR IS A COWARD

Dana White is the devil? LOL. I think you're being a bit dramatic. He's no devil, at all. Hell, he's one of the primary reasons why MMA is still alive and as big as it is today. UFC blazed the way (YES, they really did), and everyone else is following on their coat tails, PERIOD. Is MMA outside of the UFC a good thing? Hell yes. I Fedor is good fighter? Hell yes. Is he fighting the best current competition out there? Hell NO. The best HW competition is in the UFC, period. Nothing wrong with Fedor choosing co-promotion over the UFC, but in the end, until he fights the Lesners and the Coutures, the Valesquez's and the so on, the the true picture of the HW scenery is not really legit, be it in the UFC or not. Lesner can't really say he's the best because he hasn't fought Fedor, and Fedor can't really say he's the best until he fights Lesner, and so on. Of course Dana want's Fedor, and of course he rags on him because he's mad that Fedor didn't sign on with the UFC; but part of the reason he's mad is because Dana offered him a TON of money in a killer contract in which the UFC gave in to all of his demands except one, which was co-promotion. Fedor made his choice, and he chose not to fight in the UFC, where the competition at HW is the toughest. If he would have signed with the UFC and dominated the division and took the UFC title, his claim to be the greatest HW in MMA would not be questioned by anyone. He chose to not sign with the UFC, so now we really don't know.
I wish he would have signed with the UFC, b/c I WANT to know if he's the best at HW. I think he's a good fighter, but I don't know if he could beat Lesner. I think wanting the UFC to buckle and give in to the co-promotion thing was about the most unrealistic thing Fedor and M-1 could have asked for, given the UFC's postion as the top MMA event in the world. Pretty silly, but they have a right to want what they want.
Fedor vs. Lesner would have been great to see, but now we'll never REALLY know.
Look at Brock, all he's beaten are 2 washed up ex champs. Lets face it, Frank Mir's a cocky idiot and Randy is over the hill, he's too old to compete with the younger guys.
The joke is all u guys a fight is a fight and anyone has a chance Velasquez will rule the HW division for years to come and randy captain america will conquer all watch out machida

who has Fedor beaten lately? Andrei Arlovski, knockout. Brett Rogers, knockout (Rogers beat Arlovski too).... he's a qualified fighter. I agree, seeing him beat someone else qualified (i.e. Couture, Brock, Cain) would help support him being the BEST today- but until that happens all we have is STATS and opinions.
dumb UFC ass suckers. Fedor has been around for a while longer 31-1NC than Lesner 3-1 and Fedor is a joke? go blow Dana folks. Last 3fight for Fedor top ten heavy weights Brock 2 top ten fights. Fact is the only reason Brock is champ right now is their HW division was washed up at the time. now we have a better division and i dont see him holding for much longer.
If Fedor could beat Brock, he'd be in the UFC. Fact is that there are a half dozen guys who could beat Fedor pretty easily and they're all in the UFC (not all are HW though).
Fedor had a nice run but that's over now and we saw that Saturday night. A guy with no experience pressed him hard, bloodied his face and nearly beat him.
Obviously most of you have NEVER seen Fedor fight, Rogers did NOTHING impressive in that fight. He split a PRE-EXISTING cut, and didn't cause any real dmg, as the reports since the only injury Fedor sustained in the fight was when he hit Rogers so hard he dislocated his own thumb. Before all you UFC nut huggers start saying Fedor was getting smashed by Rogers ground and pouns, Rogers only hit him 3 times on the ground, a total of 4 times in the ENTIRE fight, but he was really pressing Fedor. Fedor dodge just about eveything Rogers had to give, and when Rogers went in the clinches he got thrown like a rag doll by Fedor's sambo. If you go back and watch Fedor fights he has taken much more dmg but much tougher oponents, pretty much a proven fact the man cuts and bleeds easily. Watch the Tim Sylvia fight from last year, Fedor was bleeding at the end of it but NEVER got hit in the fight. As far as Fedor having only beaten washed fighters.. When he beat them they were the top of the HW division, when he Cro Cop he was the most feared striker in the world, when he beat Big Nog he was undisputedly the best HW in the world, and considering Fedor has lost since then how does he no long have the right to be declared #1? Being the best you have nothing to prove.. the upcoming fighters such as Lesnar and Valesquez or Carwin have something to prove not Fedor, they should come to him to prove they are the best.
