at least he's not bashing Anderson Silva..he's so smart..he knows that is how to brew an exciting fight if he gets thru Nate..with all due respect to Chael,,I seriously doubt that he will win this fight with Nate..

yeah, he's got nothing on Nate...but then, he had nothing on Okami either...yet handled him easily...still I take Nate by KO...rd 2

If Chael is in the title contention area, I'm sure Demian Maia may another fight against him. Chael just got choked out by Maia and then beat Okami. Now he's talking bout eyeing the title? Ok, Okami was ranked in the top ten for a long time, but he hadn't beat anybody in the top ten since Anderson Silva illegally kicked him when he was down which was before either was in UFC. Chael was a WEC champ and that means the same thing as it does for Brian Stann, Carlos Condit, and Steve Cantwell. Which means just cause they held a WEC title doesn't mean jack now that they are in the UFC. WEC's now canceled divisions were like UFC's minor league (only exception is Shane Carwin). Chael your a good guy but you're probably gonna get the crap knocked out of you by Marquardt.

Well sure his running his mouth about Silva, but Silva is running his mouth about Vitor!! Fighters play mind games and they have to be confident. I agree with all of the above, Chael is going to lose to Nate, but he is a hard worker and will fight anyone.

Why Belfort will Lose this Fight:

Belfort will lose this fight precisely because he is consistent. In fact, he is one of the most consistent fighters of all time next to Rampage and Barnett.

I read again and again from MMA noob analyst websites that Belfort is one of the most inconsistent fighters of all time. But these MMA analysts are MMA reporters for a reason, i.e. they don't know how to use their brains.

Let's look at his results of notable bouts.
1) Wandy (win via KO)
2) Randy (los via pwnage twice)
3) Saku (loss via confusion)
4) Chuck (loss)
5) Tito (loss)
6) Hendo (loss)
7) Overeem (loss via height twice)
8) Franklin (win via KO)

So in eight major bouts he had, he is 2-6. Franklin, although a good MW, is a mediocre LHW at best. And win against Wandy was such a long time ago and way before Wandy's Pride debut. Had they fought in Pride in 2002, I can't guarantee that Vitor would have won.

If you look at Vitor's wins, they are convincing. However, he fought guys like Tank Abbott. All his flashy awe-inspiring wins are against cans.

Vitor, like Rampage and Barnett, will not lose in an upset. He will dominate a lower ranked fighter.

However, match him against a higher ranked or equally ranked fighter, he always underperformed.

My point is this. None of Vitor's loses were upsets. By upset I mean Shogun vs Forrest, Gonzaga vs CC or Rogers vs AA. And all of his wins were against lower ranked fighters.

As a side-point, if you look at Rampage and Barnett's records, you seldom see losses against Japanese cans. Rampage and Barnett will never lose via lucky leg-lock.

Back in 2009, after losing to Babalu, you can say that Sokoudju is the most inconsistent fighter of all time.

I don't think Vitor will lose in a dominating fashion given the fact that he was never knocked out before. But I think he will get a beating, go for futile takedowns, and look very confused throughout five rounds.

Verdict:
Anderson Silva via Unanimous Decision

Chael's been wanting some lime light for a while now. He has been mouthing off ever since he went 1-1 in the UFC..<--LOL! He even said "Fedor sucks."

This is the guy who has fought in minor leagues throughout his career. Then he fought then-WEC Champ Filho right when Filho started doing drugs and fucking up his life. He loses once and beats him unconvincingly the second time around when Filho clearly was 1/2 the fighter he was before he started doing coke.

Then he comes over to the UFC and loses to a contender in his debut. Then he beats a no named fighter via unanimous boring decision.

Chael has no knockout power. He has no ground game. He is a mediocre fighter at best. He is a middle weight Gate-Keeper.

Nate will destroy this guy via manhandling.

After that Chael will know his place in the MMA hierarchy.
