UFC president Dana White was a guest on Tuesday's "Jim Rome Is Burning" to discuss Saturday's in-cage melee at the recent Strikeforce event on CBS. He thinks that Strikeforce sent Jason "Mayhem" Miller into the cage to challenge middleweight champion Jake Shields in order to "save face."

Strikeforce is such a joke. They give Brett Rogers a title shot after his last fight which was losing to Fedor. Their heavyweight champ Overeem hasn't defended his title and he's had it for 2 years now. Their light heavy champ King Mo isn't even ranked and former champ Mousasi is just like Brandon Vera, all hype and not that talented. I hope Babalu rematches Mousasi and Babalu pulls a "David Heath" ending on him. Strikeforce couldn't even keep their former middleweight champ Cung Lee to fight full time, which by the way he wasn't even ranked when he held the title. Nick Diaz is quite possibly the biggest sack of crap in the sport and he is more talented at mouthing than he is at fighting. There's a reason why he isn't in UFC any more. As for Mayhem Miller, he is more of a character or TV personality than he is a mma fighter. He needs to stick with his shitty MTV show. Everyone knows that Strikeforce CEO Scott Coker had Miller go in there and stir shit up. I think its great they just spent a ton on Hendo to get him in there and he gets dominated 4 out of 5 rounds. I hope Shields leaves as middle champ and Fedor defeats Werdum, earns a title shot, wins the title from Rogers/Overeem winner, and also leaves Strikeforce as champion.

truth is, strike force has very little talent (now go ahead and name 4 or 5 guys and stack your point on those 1/2 dozen), UFC does have MANY more top rated fighters,and the vast majority of those fighter fighting in UFC can be handed directly to Dana. if a fighter want to fight the BEST, they go UFC. the only exception that i'll give is WEC. there is alot of badasses there too. i'm a HUGE Fador fan...but its starting to look like hes ducking real fighters..if you wanna fight the tuffest, most skilled, badasses in MMA....you gotta fight in the UFC.
