Brawler Houston Alexander's hand is fully healed and ready to go, a representative from Alexander's camp told MMAInsider Monday.
The Nebraska resident and father of six was forced to withdraw from a fight with Andre Gusmao at UFC 96 because of the injury. Gusmao went on to be knocked out by Krzysztof Soszynski.
The representative said Alexander was targeting the first opportunity presented for the UFC's fall lineup, but nothing had been signed or offered as of yet.
Alexander's next appearance will surely be a do-or-die scenario. After rocketing into the light heavyweight division with knockouts over Keith Jardine and Alessio Sakara, he dropped three straight fights, most recently against Eric Schafer at UFC Fight Night 15.

houston alexander could have some real potential if he went back and sharpened up on his ground skills..and by how he has performed in his last 3 fights if it went to the ground there was a 67 percent chance that it would not go in his favor...go back, work on your bjj and your wrestling and go show ppl that your not a chump
