Randy Couture Training for Minotauro Nogueira

Couture is down to 2 fights on his contract regardless. He does look pretty good,but it will never result in another title shot. Dana is not stupid, he would never give Couture a title shot on his last contractual fight. Couture wins and goes to fight Fag-dor in Strikefarce. Hence the signing of Brock vs Carwin. This ensures that Couture will have to wait at least 6 months for any consideration. Couture either re-ups in that timeframe or is just let go. If Nog wins this is all a moot point anyway. I will put money on it that Randy is offered the winner of Mir vs Kongo if he beats Nog. He will not see Carwin or even Cain because Dana wont chance Randy beating a top contender and then leaving to sign with Strikefarce. When the UFC was in talks with Fag-dor Randy went on record saying he believes he should get first crack at him. This fight is still tops on his list. This would be a nice possible win to ride off into retirement. I truly believe in a cage Randy would beat Fag-dor,call me crazy but cage savvy is a bitch. Coleman and Randleman both took down Fag-dor and there was no cage there to help keep him down. He manipulated the ropes, just ask a much lighter Matt Lindland how affective Fag-dor is at that tactic. Fag-dor is going to expose another weakness when he spars with Mousasi. Randy would be able to get past his incredible punching power because Fag-dor swings with wild, looping punches.Watch the Andrei Glass-Jaw-ski fight with Fag-dor in Affliction, Fag-dor was getting destroyed by superior boxing/kickboxing, one mistake on a ridiculous mistimed flying knee attempt was all Fag-dor needed to snatch victory from the jaws of defeat. Correct me if I'm wrong,didn't Brett Rogers destroy Glass-Jaw-Ski within a minute of the first round????
The alure of fighting Fag-dor in a cage with Strikefarce will be too much for Couture to resist. If Randy wins I think Dana should release Randy from his last fight and let him go ground-n-pound the Russian duck artists teeth down his throat. There would be no grabbing the ropes like against Randys teammate lindland.
Well first things first,Captain America has to first slay the beast(Minitauro) Fag-dor already has 2 victories against when he was worthy of P4P consideration.
Jonny Z you are the man i couldnt agree more with you!! although randy did state that if (when he wins cuz we all know he will) that he woulsd love to drop to 205 and fight anderson silva which i would love to see hopefully dana is considering that then once his 2 fights are up he can go fight fedor finally and put a end to his p4p bull shit!!! It was pretty obvious the first couple times he sold himself out, and not to mention putting his big mouth wife into the ring... He needs to retire now, and walk away before he ruins his image forever. Bottom line, Randy Couture is a chump, and that's why he was put up against old man Coleman...
