Yeah Nog would kick your ass just like how you kick his ass in the last fight. Travis see how gay that sounds its because it is. Nog got is ass kicked enough said. He beat Randy wow nothing wrong with randy it's just that he is only 100 years old now. He will do down as the best in the world yes but now father time is caught up to him and these younger and bigger guys and going to give him trouble like Nog did but Frank was great in that fight and he beat the living hell out of him. So don't talk shit if you don't know what the hell you are talkingn about. So pick up the MMA Mag you got in the mail today and sit you fat ass down somewhere and watch real men fight.. But don't foreget to Blog about someone who would beat you so bad knowone would know who you are. I hate fat lazy ass people who talk smack......Travis your new name is Chunk for now on...

Derek, Frank looked good but Nog looked terrible. He was clearly not looking well even before he stepped into the cage, he admitted as much right after the fight. Unlike most people, he choose to fight knowing he'd be at 50% at best. Frank is just bitter because he knows that he beat a weakened Nogueira and it undermines his win, that much I can understand from Mir's point of view, but he also has to accept that his biggest victory has a bit of an asterisk beside it.

Frank only looked better then usual because of this, his so called striking power was amplified by a zombie Nogueira. It shouldn't take away from Frank's victory, but at the same time, it does. I'd love to see a proper rematch, no fighter even comes in at 100%, but it'd be nice to see how Frank would do against a much more refreshed Nogueira.

And Randy "at 100 years old" would give Frank trouble 99 times out of ten, he may be 46, but he fights like a man in his 20's. He's no slouch.

I'd like to see how well Frank fights with a staph infection and being in the hospital right before a big fight. Call it sour grapes, but Frank is the master of hyping himself up, he refuses to believe that his biggest win is slightly tainted, everyone knows that Nogueira looked like a zombie, there's a difference between not being 100 percent and barely being able to get out of bed.

Frank Mir is the world's biggest D-BAG. Here's a guy who constantly runs his F#$Kin' mouth and half the time can't even back it up....I always get a good laugh when i watch that highlight of Brandon Vera ABSOLUTELY DESTROYING HIM, and then him getting up after the fight is stopped and he looks like he doesn't know where he's at.......LOL..Big Nog would whoop his ass if they fought again--hands down... It's just like when people were saying Brock was gonna get Sub'ed again, YEAH RIGHT....Frank-- your an idiot................

Anonymous said...

Well if you have a staph infection then.....DONT FIGHT! Once you make the decision to step in the cage; whether your just being a warrior or not you cant give excuses later!

So since Tim Sylvia had major back problems, should Couture's win be tainted? Since GSP was having mental issues, should Serra's win be tainted?

I don't like excuses and whining, but that was definitely a different fighter who fought Mir.It is kind of like when GSP fought serra and lost but then came back and destoyed everybody. I am not saying Nog is going to do that, but that is how much different Nog looked against Randy. It was a great fight, both fighters looked great andwho gives a shit what Mir thinks! I thought Mir looked great against Nog, but then I saw him fight Brock and I realized he is not that good. I don't even know if he can handle Congo

Those aren't comparable, Nogueira LOOKED like crap even before he stepped in the cage. You could see it on his body, his face and the way he moved, he was physically ill and should not have been in the cage.

Every fighter has issues yes, I'm sure Mir has gone in with injuries, every fighter does, the only argument here is that Mir beat a weakened Nogueira who shouldn't have been fighting period, not someone who has some issues but still looks and shows that he's capable of fighting at the level he's expected of.

like mir didnt blame his losses to pe de pano and vera on injuries hes just mad cuz the only fight he looked good was because his opponent was sick

all the pride vs ufc fights were fixed. especially mir vs noguiera. the most obvious of all of them.

Nog did look a lot better than when he fought Mir. Not saying who is better or anything, but a rematch would be cool. He was slimmer and moved around better. I hate Lesnar but I do think he is right bout him beating Nog. The same goes to Mir though. Lesnar is just too big and has retard strength. These guys who have decent stand up like Mir and Nog are gonna get taken down and Lesnar has learned if he lays down on top of these BJJ fighters, they cant do anything. Thats why its gonna take someone like Cro Cop or more like Shane Carwin who have good striking and can stay away from takedowns to beat that big fucker.

Oh and what the fuck is this last guy talking bout? Pride Vs UFC fights being fixed? No. This is MMA not boxing. I don't think MMA is fixed except when Bisping fights an American in UK.

Seriously if Nog was so sick, he should not have fought. I mean why fight if you can't. That is a waist of a bout.

Call it being a warrior if you want, but in the end illness and injury is a factor of any fight. This is not a video game where you start with a 100% life bar. (Street Fighter/Tekken)

Also, if Nog is not making excuses for his performance, then why should we?

Wow... Him saying that just because they are lighter heavyweights is the reason that they weren't able to finish Nog is just ridiculous.
He mentioned Cro Cop... Really Mir? Mir doesn't and will never have the power Cro Cop has in either hand and definitely not the feet... I like Mir but I'm starting to dislike alot of the ignorant things that come out of his mouth...

Anonymous said...

Most are you guys are stupid. I really not biased. for either fighter. But looking at each figters resumes. Frank is the better fighter. Both black belt in jits. With frank winning nagas battle at the beach twice. Which is not small feat. Looking at there fights. I believe Mir is the better fighter. With the oppenents and skills he posses. A rematch would result in the same thing. Randy coture even cought Nog a few times. He just didnt have the same kinda power.

Anonymous said...

Nog lost because he got punched in the face by Mir constantly. Anything else is irrelevenat because he chose to be in the cage on that night and lost. Mir is right in saying people need to stop downgrading his win. He's also right that Randy hit him a bunch of times but just didn't have the power to drop him. I was saying that while the fight was happening.

So Mir is complaining about fighters blaming their loses on injuries...isn't this the guy that blamed all of his loses on his motorcycle crash injuries?

every dog has his da frank mir had his but he not the best in the world. i think when frank beat nog he got to cocky im glad lesnar beat him down. nut nog chin is devloping like chucks liddells chin been in to many fights been hit to much. nog should retire cause any one else in the heavyweight division will ko tko him. cheick kongo shane carwin gabe gonzaga i even think that kimbo as long as it stood up would beat nog his button is just worn out hell heath herring just about beat tko'd nog in there fight is he would have attacked him instead of stanging it back up

I seem to recall a lot of people including Mir making excuses for Mir's shitty performances after the motorcycle accident. I even recall after the Hardonk fight he said, "Now you'll see the real Frank Mir!" Hypocrite.

Nog had trouble with Herring before Mir knocked him out. Whether Nog wasn't prepared or not he looked bad in both fights. He needs a couple of good fights in a row to prove he is really back (to me). I don't think that he should fight Brock anytime soon. For his own sake!! I am not sure why Mir gets such little respect in the MMA world. He is a good fighter and a former heavyweight champ. His only really bad fight was when he was knocked out by Brandon 'the flop' Vera. In which case Mir wasn't 100%.

Mir is a dickhead crybaby and never shuts up

Dude, Mir is a moron.

There is a reason why Fedor is not in the UFC and it is $$$.

UFC cannot match Strikeforce, which offered co-promotion. The monetary value of co-promotion is higher than getting $1million per fight. Think about it. M-1 has several fighters that are shadowed by Fedor. Fedor not only gets $$ from his fights but money from his M-1 fighters. This is equivalent to loaning fighters and pocketing rent. UFC wouldn't let Fedor do that.

Nog made $460k in his last fight against Randy. Best UFC could offer Fedor is $1.5million. And Fedor's market value is much higher than that.

No other fighter can sell events like Fedor. Bodog and Affliction was completely run by Fedor, the only reason why PPVs were even sold.

Imagine if UFC did Lesnar vs Lindland for main event and "can vs can" for rest of the card. PPV=zero! Bottomline, people would watch Fedor vs anyone.

Imagine Fedor vs Lesnar. This has the potential to be aired live in Japan and rest of the world + PPV in U.S. + gate entrance=50,000+. It would be by far the best selling event EVER!

Why would Fedor accept $1million to fight Lesnar in the UFC when he could fight cans in Strikeforce for the same money?

Fedor is NOT letting UFC milk him because at the end of the day he is the ONLY fighter who can go anywhere and still make $$$.

Big words from a guy with a perm. Seriously Mir, 1994 needs the hairdo back. This guy bugs me. When he talks, you can see he's trying extra hard to sound educated.
