"TUF" season three alum Kalib Starnes is expected to return to action again this summer, fighting for Canada-based promotion "Ultimate Cage Wars" in July.
A source close to the fight informed MMAInsider of the news on Friday.
The controversial middleweight will face off with Cesar Gracie-trained Bret "The Angry Hick" Bergmark, who carries a record of 5-1 and competed last April, winning a decision victory over Jesse Juarez.
Since his notorious performance against Nate Quarry at UFC 83, the Surrey, British Columbia native has shied away from the spotlight completely.
Following the fight, Starnes was granted a release from his UFC contract. He then said he was fielding multiple offers from different organizations, but needed to heal a broken foot suffered in the fight.
Starnes' return began in November, where he defeated Chris Cisneros by armbar at Destiny MMA in Hawaii.
His professional record stands at 9-3-1.

One bad fight (he broke his foot), and it's like he's worse than all the fighters that get caught using roids and sniffing coke that only get small suspensions.

Kalib is a joke.... you have to be shitting me that someone would pick him up and want them to fight in there venue. Just because you train at a studio and learn how to punch kick do a leg take down or a basic arm bar doesnt make you a fighter. The guy at best on any given day is nothing more then a Sparring Partner..... I wouldnt watch the guy fight for free.
