I'm rooting for Shogun but won't be surprised if Machida wins. I don't like how they are hyping Machida up like he is the next Anderson Silva. He has proved he's good by beating Tito, Thiago Silva and knocking out Rashad, but saying its the Machida era and he hasn't even defended his title yet? I know hype is good for PPVs and stuff but come on.
First off anderson silva has been beating up 2nd level fighters with the exception of hendo and franklin. Look at machidas fights he has fought many ex champs and beat all of them not just beat them but embarrassed them. I know people are like look what silva did to forrest well everyone beats up forrest. I dont think shogun has the chance or the right to fight machida next just for the fact he barely beat coleman and then knocked chuck everyone knocks out chuck now. If anyone deserves a shot it should be rampage. Though i dont think rampage would win it would be a better fight and it would prove machida belongs where he is.
Machida beat ex champions???!!! Who did he beat??? Tito Ortiz??? He's been an injury wreck for a long time... BJ PENN??? He barely beat him by decision (oh and by the way he is 3 weight classes beneath Machida!!!) Shogun on the other hand destroyed Rampage and Chuck and Coleman also ex champions IDIOT!!! Shogun will destroy Machida in the 4th ROUND!!! You heard it here first!
You really think Shogun will destroy Machida? You have to be kidding. Win is possible, but not destroy. Seriously, have you seen Machida fight? He embarrassed Rashad in his last fight. I'm not putting Shogun down, he's a great fighter, but he will not "destroy" Machida. In any case, Machida wins by knockout in the 2nd round. See you guys Shogun lovers after the fight.
Hey morons Machida is going to decimate So-Done. We will be judging So-done by the level at which he is beaten. Mark my words Machida KO's him end of first or beginning of second round

people seem to forget that machida has not only has a undefeated record for never loosing a fight but also for NEVER lossing a ROUND!
shogun, barely finished coleman, which c'mon its coleman, its like saying someone barely beat tyson, both great back in their time.
