My name is "Kaya" Carla Diane Lewis, sister of Charles "The Mask" Lewis Jr. I'm pleading with the fans, fellow MMA/UFC fighters and friends, to join me at the Santa Ana, Criminal Courts Building, at 700 W. Civic Center Dr., room C-5, Santa Ana CA., on Friday, December 11, 2009, at 9 a.m. for the criminal proceedings of People vs. Mr. Kirby, case # 09HF0445. On this day a determination will be made whether Mr. Jeffrey Kriby, the drunk driver who killed my little brother, should either stand trial or be allowed a plea for a lessor sentence. I believe in my heart Mr. Kirby should stand before a jury of his peers so all facts of the case will be made known to all. A plea may allow Mr. Kirby to receive a lighter sentence, as opposed to facing a jury of his peers, with all facts before them, deciding his fate. Mr. Kirby is a 51 year old, multiple DUI offender who knew the consequences of his actions when he decided to get behind the wheel of his car while intoxicated, could lead to the loss of innocent lives.

I wish that I lived out there b/c I would surely be there! Hopefully, fans of MMA and Mask that live nearby will show up to ensure Mr. Kirby faces a jury of his peers.
